Orainn

November 22, 2021

ORAINN provides the company with a person in charge of “In-company” Innovation who, by getting involved on a day-to-day basis and in collaboration with different people in the company, works on how to face current and future challenges to make the company more competitive. The knowledge and experience of technologists who are experts in the sector and are involved in the company’s activities is key to providing the best technological solution.

It also provides awareness-raising and training for staff so that new routines and activities are successfully internalised, as well as an analysis of the most appropriate public and private funding mechanisms for the development of the planned plan.

ORAINN consists of several modules that can be applied as a whole or separately depending on the specific needs of the company. In short, ORAINN pursues two objectives: to identify innovation projects that allow the company’s competitive position to be improved (for this purpose, various Tecnalia technology areas participate) and in this process, as new projects are identified, to generate a series of work dynamics that prepare the company to manage innovation in a more orderly, participative way, and in collaboration with external agents.

The demand comes from COMPANIES (it adapts perfectly to large companies), which are looking to improve the process of generating/ideating new innovation projects and especially their development and implementation in order to achieve an impact on the market. Technology-based projects that respond to the great challenges of the moment, among others, Industry 4.0. ORAINN is an initiative that Tecnalia launched in 2017. Since its launch, more than 20 companies of different sizes and sectors have participated in it.
